Mayfield Senior School is a Catholic, independent, college preparatory school for young women grades 9-12 with an enrollment of 330 students. Located in beautiful Pasadena, California, the school is sponsored by the Society of the Holy Child Jesus and guided by the educational philosophy of the Society’s foundress, Cornelia Connelly.
Grounded in the Seven Goals of Holy Child education, Mayfield seeks faculty and staff members who will help build a joyful educational community. Holy Child educators take on a huge responsibility. Yes, it’s important that we teach with enthusiasm, energy and creativity—engaging our students so that they are captivated and motivated, strengthened and inspired. Yes, we strive for excellence and hold ourselves to incredibly high academic standards. In most schools this would be enough. But as Holy Child educators it is not enough. Most importantly, we are called to let our students know that they are loved.
